The candles will be used, one for the time-lapse to show the passing of time during the period the girl has spent within the woods. The other candle will be used as the object that will fall from the tree/sky where the girl sees it fall directly in front of her as a stimulus for a jump scare.
The headphones are for the opening scene before she enters the woods we will do some post production work to have the audio she was listening to played over the track so for us its non diegetic sound while it would be diegetic for the character.
The bugs are in place to possibly be used n the scene where the girl is on the floor and they crawl over her face this is taking into consideration though just in case feel its not to a high enough standard and look possibly look into using cgi work.
